An excellent example of the simple values of traditional, Northern Italian wine making are present in this un-wooded, smooth, and flavorful easy to drink Merlot del Veneto.
Made of hand selected 100% Merlot grapes and aged for 12 months, this traditional style Italian merlot at sight is a deep ruby red color. The bouquet is wide, herbaceous, and delicate. On the palate the taste is smooth, nicely tannic and very well-balanced with a long, delicious and persistent finish.
A northern Italian easy drinking favorite that pairs wonderfully with wild game, roasted and grilled meats, barbeque, pasta, and savory fish dishes as well.
