This wine is a true Classic from the North of Italy, and from one of the foremost wine producing regions for quality, and the production of Pinot Grigio; in Veneto.
Cantine Riondo is located in the municipalities of Soave and Monteforte d'Alpone, where exists the original and ancient areas of production of Soave and Pinot Grigio, known in Italy as the Historic Area; the winery is located in the heart of this region. This wine is 100% Pinot Grigio and Aged for 12 months. Having wonderful character and structure, this wine displays a pure straw color with golden reflections. On the nose it explodes with a pleasant bouquet of citrus fruit that is wide, full, and persistent.
On the palate the delicious citrus flavors merge with accents of minerals and florals to produce a bolder, richer version of this classic wine.
The bright, crisp, full flavors are achieved by having longer contact with the skins during fermentation.
This wine pairs perfectly with fish and shellfish, poultry, pastas, barbeque and solo by the glass.
