Don’t let the color fool you, this is an incredible Rose with exceptional body and taste From the renowned wine region of Salento on the peninsula of Puglia, known as the "heel" of the Italian "boot", and along the Bay of Taranto, and this wine hails from the regions center of attention and renowned wine producing region.
Relatively unknown for generations, this amazing Rose is an example of the high quality standards and wine producing capabilities from the vintners in the south.
Made of 70% Negroamaro di Salento, and 30% Malvasia Bianca di Salento, this wine is aged for 12 months; 3 months Stainless Steel, 6 months French Oak Barriques, and 3 months Bottle. At sight this wine is an intense coral pink color and sometimes is mistaken for a medium bodied red wine. The nose is wonderfully fresh with a young, ripe fruit bouquet that is wide and persistent. On the palate this wine blossoms with flavor, is smooth, with a long and refreshing finish. Let yourself free and journey into the pleasures of Southern Italian Rosato di Salento.
