Wine Notes:

The elegant smoothness...makes this the undisputed jewel of Apulia, and the continued pursuit of perfect harmony rings in this Negroamaro, in its successful synthesis.

From an innovative and revolutionary night harvesting method for these Negroamaro grapes, was born the rare wine which holds the freshness and flowers, and fruit fragrances concentrated by the grape during the cool night. This is why you find a rising moon on the small label affixed to the front of the bottle and as part of the winery logo.

Elegance, body, balance, complexity, and persistence, give a particular "Verve" to this wine and makes it unique and recognizable among others, giving an exclusive emotion of velvety and elegant pleasantness to those who taste it.

This amazing wine, that for generations was a relatively unknown secret hails from the region of Apulia, which stretches over 220 miles to Italy's heel–tip. From the regions center of attention and renowned wine producing district of Salento, Negroamaro wines have been researched and developed over many years as one of the only indigenous grapes in the region, to accentuate the intrinsic value of the wines and the region, where Negroamaro is the jewel of any collection.

Winemaker Notes:

At sight a compact deep ruby red color leaning towards an intense dark purple. On the nose it is big and wide with a bold floral bouquet, peppery notes and pleasant cocoa accents. The taste is fruit forward, smooth and well balanced, while having a potent and aggressive, yet soft and fruity taste with a delicious, long, structured and fulfilling finish.

This wine can be enjoyed young and becomes more refined for 5 to 6 years.

At its best when opened 45 minutes or longer prior to serving.

Pairing:

Pairs well with roasted or grilled meats, pasta, fried fish and shellfish, and spicy dishes.
