This Wine is True to the Grape Good and excellent example of an Old World style Chianti
This wine comes from the heart of the Chianti zone within the region of Chianti, and closely resembles the same characteristics you would find in a true, old world fine Tuscan Chianti. Made of hand selected 100% Sangiovese grapes and aged for 9 months; 6 months in French Oak Barrels and 3 months in Bottle, give this wine its classic, old world character and complexity. This wine is traditional and classic Chianti. Aging in French Oak gives this wine a brilliant and deep ruby red color with garnet hues.
The nose of this wine is wide, full, and persistent with intense lingering aromas of delicious fruit and spiced notes. Elegant and well balanced, on the palate the wine is fruit forward and soft, with gentle tannins that are in perfect balance with the acidity of the wine, with subtle flavors vanilla, cocoa, and spice.
A smooth, fruit forward body that is soft and warm, with a long, slightly dry, velvety and persistent finish. Excellent to enjoy solo or paired with cheeses or fruit appetizers, roasted meats, barbeque, poultry, pizza and pasta. An Old World style easy drinking favorite of Tuscany that can be your everyday dinner wine.
