Wine Notes:
Drawing from worthy native varieties and the choicest of the international array, this traditional style white wine distinguishes the quality and avant–garde winemaking of this region.
The compact region of Friuli–Venezia Giulia, commanding the northern Adriatic Sea with borders of Austria and Slovenia, continues to set the pace with modern Italian white wine.
Friulians have applied studied vineyard techniques and enology to the production of highly distinctive white wines that have become renowned worldwide. Friuli has built a growing reputation in Italy and abroad for white wines made by relatively small wineries and estates.
This Friulian style white favors the exquisitely fresh and fruity, with delicate fragrance and flavor that express clear varietal character.
Winemaker Notes:
At sight a bright straw yellow with greenish reflections especially when young. The nose is pleasantly harmonious, fresh and fruity. The taste is well balanced, full bodied, and reflects the characteristics of the grapes, fresh and full flavored.
This wine may be enjoyed for 2 to 3 years from release during which time it will retain all its fruit characteristics.
Pairing:
Pairs well with anything seafood; fresh or saltwater; fish, shellfish; broiled, grilled, fried, and great with risotto and simple by the glass.
