This wine comes from and is produced in the heart of Chianti and shares many of the same characteristics found in a fine Tuscan Chianti.
From the finest estate grown, hand-selected and sorted Sangiovese grapes, this wine
is Made of 100% Sangiovese and Aged for 12 months, and considered a classic, easy drinking favorite.
At sight, this wine is a deep ruby red color. On the nose the wine is wide and persistent with fruit-forward notes and hints of fertile Tuscan earth and lush forest scents. On the palate the wine is soft with gentle tannins that are in perfect balance with the acidity of the wine. The finish is long, smooth, and pleasant.
An excellent wine to enjoy solo by the glass or paired well with cheese or fruit appetizers, grilled or roasted meats, great with barbeque, or a savory plate of pasta, or pizza. An "Old World" Classic that is sure to please.
