The historic word "Gentilesco" comes from the Medici Family vocabulary to describe an especially high-quality wine from carefully and gently, hand selected and sorted grapes.
From the hills of Florence and Siena comes this wonderful, young and fresh Chianti that is sure to please.
Taken and produced using the original growing text and notes of the Medici Family vintners, this wine is Made of 85% Sangiovese, 10% Canaiolo, and 5% Malvasia del Chianti Nera, and is Aged for 12 months. At sight the wine is a deep, rich ruby red color. On the nose it is fruity, wide and persistent. On the palate the wine is tangy, fresh and smooth, with explosive fruit and a wonderfully long and persistent finish.
An excellent wine to enjoy with any meal, and is at its best when decanted 45 minutes prior to serving. An "Old World" Classic originally created by the historic and royal Medici Family of Tuscany, and now proudly produced by Cantine Bonacchi under exclusive permission of the Medici estate.
