Brachetto originated in the hills around Asti, which is home to many of Italy’s most famous sparkling wines. Brachetto is in much demand although annual output in is extremely limited. However, limited production is compensated by its fine and incomparable quality.

The exact origins of Prosecco are somewhat of a mystery, but in fact, already known as the “pucino” in the time of the Roman Empire.
